From the Nursery to our 55Alive group we are helping people become all they can be for God. We encourage you to learn more about our ministries and groups here at WAG and get involved in one to build your relationship with
God and with His people.

YOUNG ADULTS/SINGLES GROUP

The young adults /singles group is designed for the adults in our church ages 18-54. The focus is to gather, enjoy food and fellowship, and share our faith. Outings are planned throughout the year (view calendar) including excursion trips; favorite eating-places and seasonal outings. Come join us, meet other couples and other singles within the church!

YOUTH MINISTRIES (DOULOS IGNITED)

Doulos Ignited is where the next generation of Christians comes together to get spiritual intake for the journey ahead. Along with discussion-style Bible study and worship the teens enjoy foosball, air-hockey, friends and food. It is a great place to make friends, have fun, share in each other’s struggles and joys, and serve our community. The Youth Group meets each Wednesday at 7pm in the Youth Hall.

MEN’S MINISTRIES
The Men’s group meets every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. for prayer and breakfast. Men get to enjoy exciting bonding experiences, from outdoor adventures to sports events.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES (JOY FELLOWSHIP)
Women ministry is an opportunity for our church to touch the lives of women by the power of Jesus Christ through outreach, Ministry groups, and discipleship. Through this exciting and fun ministry, Christian women are touching the world in varied and creative ways. We reach beyond personal interests and comfort zones to embrace women of all ages, races, professions and social standings. We are building an environment for women to mentor women— a place where women can learn, practice biblical love and feel God’s love in a very real way. The women in our church share a common goal—to personally know and be known by the Master. With the help of the Holy Spirit we are encouraged to share the hope of the gospel with women in a more profound way.

ROYAL RANGERS

Royal Rangers is a mentoring program for boys and young men. We provide Christ like character formation and servant leadership development for the Rangers in a highly relational and fun environment. Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ like men and lifelong servant leaders.

MPACT GIRLS

Mpact is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact Girls Clubs provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, the girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders.

55 AND ALIVE

Fifty-Five and Alive is designed for the adults in our church age 55 and over. The focus is to gather, enjoy food and fellowship, and share our faith. Outings are planned throughout the year (view calendar) including excursion trips, favorite eating-places and seasonal outings. Come join us, a good time is in store for you.

SOUND AND TECHNICAL

The sound and technical team creates a visual and uplifting worship service. Including sound, camera, PowerPoint, providing both technical and non-technical support.

HUGS MINISTRY

The welcome team is our first impression and makes a huge impact. Individuals welcome every guest and member as they enter the building or are attending the sanctuary. Welcoming team members arrive 15 minutes prior to first arrival. Team members usually serve on a rotating format.

NURSERY

While you attend a Bible Study or Worship Service your babies and toddlers are cared for in our Nursery. The Nursery and Toddler rooms are equipped with age appropriate activities and toys. Your children will be in a safe environment.
To insure the safe release of your child:
CHILDREN WILL ONLY BE RELEASED TO A PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF THE CHILD.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Each Sunday we provide classes that are presented at each persons learning level.

Your children will learn from God’s word. We believe that children can embrace truths when presented at the level of their understanding. Sunday School classes are provided for all age groups Nursery, Pre-school, Elementary, Teen, High School and Adult.

Sunday School meets at 9:30 each Sunday Morning

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Children’s Church (ages 4 through 10) meets in FOX HALL during morning worship at 10:30.Your children will participate in Bible drama, games, singing and worship. This service will both encourage and empower your children to love God, love others and change their world. Our Children's Ministry program guides your child through scripture and leads them on their journey with God. Proverbs 6:23 (MSG) “For sound advice is a beacon, good teaching is a light, morale discipline is a path.”

Note: On the 5^th Sunday children will join their parents in the Sanctuary for the worship service.

MISSIONS

America is a mission field! The World is a mission field! Assembly of God missionaries, chaplains, and project volunteers are there ... sharing Jesus among people who are tucked into their own unique and sometimes unusual places in this nation. We are there ... going to places and to people that others are not. We are chaplains, campus ministers, church planters, church builders, and other ministry specialists taking the gospel to the lost. We are there that none be lost.

At Wilmington Assembly of God, our mission support includes: Assembly of God World Missions, AG Home Missions, AG District Counsel Missions and Local Home Missions

MEALS ON WHEELS

This ministry works to provide meals for people in the congregation (and their families) who may need our assistance when hospitalized or physically incapacitated due to injury or illness.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY
A group of caring people from Wilmington Assembly goes to Wilmington Nursing and Rehab Center to minister to those who are residing there. It is a time of singing, sharing and giving back to our most precious citizens. The date and time is listed on the Church Calendar. Your presence and talents are welcome.

PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAM

The Praise and Worship team leads the congregation as we sing and praise the Lord. Hearts are lifted and blessed as we welcome the Holy Spirit. We want to magnify and exalt the Lord in our hearts through glorious songs of worship.

YOUR FATHER’S KITCHEN

Is a ministry whose focus is to show the love of Jesus to those needing his touch. Wilmington Assembly Of God joins forces with Sugar Tree Ministries by providing a meal every fourth Monday of each month. You can participate in one of he following ways: donate your time, money or food. Each month a list is posted on the Message Board where you can select items needed for the upcoming meal. However you choose to contribute, your efforts will be a blessing.
